SNAFU: 2011- 2018
Since 2011, I have been working on a project titled SNAFU (Situation Normal All Fucked Up), which examines American gun culture through five distinct bodies of work, totaling over 70 pieces. These include: Every 16 Hours, addressing gun violence against women; Red Guns, focusing on mass school shootings; I Don’t Mind, exploring trophy hunting; Black Lives Matter, highlighting gun violence against Black men; and Monkey See Monkey Do, investigating the origins of these issues.
